Customize Statistical Calculation

If you do not want some answer items to be included in the calculation and charts (such as N/A in a continuous choice question or the "Other" option in a question) then un-check the box corresponding to the answer and the analysis engine will disregard that answer in all calculation and charts for that particular question.

This option can be enabled/disabled by going to:

• Surveys » Reports » Basic » Dashboard

• Scroll down to the question for which you want to customize the Statistical Calculation. On the right side of the box for the question, click on the small gear icon.
• Click Customize Statistical Calculation.
• Un-check the box next to the answer(s) that you want to exclude from the chart and calculation.
• Click Update
